Terms of Service
Last updated 23 June 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms are a contract between you and Futuedu Oy ("we", "us"), the company behind Witsy. By creating an account or using Witsy you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. What Witsy is
Witsy is an interactive learning platform that teaches spreadsheet skills through a simulated spreadsheet, lessons, and a placement test. We may change, add, or remove features as the service evolves, but we will not materially reduce the core paid content of a tier you have purchased without giving you reasonable notice and, where appropriate, a remedy such as a refund.
3. Your account
You must be at least 16 to use Witsy. Give accurate account information, keep your password secure, and do not share your account — you are responsible for activity under it. One account per person.
4. Purchases and payment
- Witsy offers subscriptions (a monthly or annual plan that renews automatically until you cancel) and a one-time lifetime purchase, each granting access to a tier of Witsy content at the price shown at checkout. Promotional discounts (such as a Founders offer) apply only as described at the time.
- Payments are handled by Stripe, which acts as our merchant of record (your card statement may show "Link" or "LINK.COM*"). By purchasing you also agree to Stripe's terms. We never receive or store your card details.
- "Lifetime access" means access for the operational lifetime of the Witsy service. It does not guarantee that the service will operate indefinitely.
- You can cancel a subscription at any time from Profile → Manage subscription. It stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again after that.
- We may change prices. A change never affects a one-time purchase you have already made; for subscriptions, a new price applies only to renewals after we have given you notice.
- Any applicable VAT or sales tax is calculated and collected by Stripe as merchant of record and shown at checkout.
5. Refunds and cancellation
Our 14-day money-back guarantee. If Witsy isn't right for you, you can withdraw from your purchase within 14 days for a full refund — no reason needed. The quickest way is the withdrawal option in your account (Profile → "Cancel & refund"), which cancels your purchase and refunds you in full. You can also email support@witsy.io.
Your statutory right of withdrawal. As an EU or UK consumer you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content, and we do not ask you to waive it. You can exercise it with the in-account withdrawal function described above. Because Link is the merchant of record for your purchase (see section 4), it is the seller for the transaction; you may also contact Link support to request a refund.
If something is wrong with the content. Separately from the above, you keep your statutory rights if Witsy's content is defective or not as described. Those rights are not limited to 14 days and are not affected by our voluntary guarantee.
A refund returns the full amount you were charged, including any tax. Beyond the rights described here, any further refund is at our discretion. Nothing in these Terms limits your mandatory statutory rights.
6. Acceptable use
Witsy is for your personal learning. You agree not to:
- resell, redistribute, or publicly share the lessons or content;
- scrape, copy in bulk, or reverse-engineer the service;
- share your account or access credentials;
- attack, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service; or
- use Witsy to infringe anyone's rights or break the law.
7. Intellectual property
The lessons, content, software, and the Witsy name and logo are owned by Futuedu Oy or its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access the content for your own learning. You may not copy or redistribute it.
8. Not affiliated with Microsoft
Witsy is an independent educational product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Microsoft Corporation. "Microsoft" and "Excel" are trademarks of Microsoft Corporation, used here only to describe the real-world skills Witsy helps you learn.
9. Disclaimers
Witsy is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will be error-free or uninterrupted, and we do not guarantee any particular outcome — such as a certification, exam result, or job — from using it.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for your access to Witsy, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
11. Termination
You may stop using Witsy and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the date above; for material changes we will give you notice. Continuing to use Witsy after a change means you accept the updated Terms. No change will reduce the access or refund rights attached to a purchase you have already made.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland, and the courts of Finland have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may also bring proceedings in the courts there.
14. General
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us about Witsy. You may not transfer your rights under them; we may transfer ours to a successor (for example in a merger or sale of the business) without affecting your rights as a consumer.
